My Column: Just -Unjust

What is just or unjust changes with the flip of coin specially in a war these days. It is hard to recall we have seen such a crazy and cruel times since those barbaric days.

Every body fights, kids fight, adults fight. They fight for their right or need, they fight when they get bored, or to show their might. But then soon dut settles down and everything comes back to normal. It doesn’t endangers anybody’s life.

But when politicians and leaders of two nations start fighting, there is no end to the damage and destruction. And worst thing is they do not know when to stop. There ego is always bigger than any humanitarian or word’s concerns.

Our twenty first century has seen ,these wars all over the world, but whatever may be the cause shown, real cause is always economical or a wounded ego.

There is no just war now, It is a whimsical war, where there are no ethics or morals. We have seen how people in Kahalgaon were killed, how pople were killed and brutally exhibited after being kidnapped from Israel.

But in these situations we must remember that how so ever angry we are , an eye for an eye will make the whole world go blind.
In any fight restrain and its right use at the right time will only differentiate between a just and unjust war.

Let us pray that common sense and peace prevails in our heart and mind and in our world.

Words and thoughts wether prayers or sympathy are strong tools. Hope they reach right years and knock some sense in our crazy and violent world.

This Issue of Lekhni is a call for peace, call for understanding the pain of our on as well as others. We must fight for our right, fight the evil but in a just battle .

With this issue , we are welcoming our young writer Swastik Raj with his story in the Kids’ Corner. hope other young readers and budding writers also get inspired.

Do not worry even if it is your first story, we can always make it presentable by working hard at it from both ends.

Your passion is the most cherished attribute of ‘Lekhni’

Good luck and good wishes to all our young and old, professional and new writers.
