Imprint
The blaze of the Sun
scorching my naked eyes
& my mind wanders far away
as I wait on the bus-stop!
My mind wandering
but my heart fixed,
to an image, on a thought
that’s laiden only of you.
The more my heart beats
the greater goes the intensity
the desire to bloom in your garden
& feel blissed!
The more my eyes stop on you,
the more my heart stares you
it skips a beat with a touch
that’s passionate & so much You!
Would it be wrong to say,
to express
to disclose in my words
how much I crave for,
how much I desire
that ‘imprint’!
Just you!
Caged,
stiffled,burning
inside!
Words,
sentences,
feelings
dying!
Dawn,
golden heat,
dusk
all forms!
Hours,
minutes,
seconds
all hands!
It’s you
everywhere
all the time!

Do-Not-Yet
Life like a river, cannot stick to things
however good or bad, painful or joyous.
In that still calm of a settled night
dreams are swept away
like a drift wood beyond one’s reach
Still soaked and drenched
absorbing each drop
of that slashing tormenting wave
Do not ,yet mourn their passing by
My pensive heart—–
Images are capsuled within.
The sinking of that first paper-boat
Opening of a pensy-bud
in front of joyous eyes
has become a part of you forever
Try and pace with the current
and those faraway dreams
Sure, will swim back to you
One day
Because life like a river
is a continuous flow
Togetherness
Not a separation !
She
Yes , She is the women
like a doll or showpiece
You put her on a pedestal
Worshipped as a godess
but she stood there
Sad and lonely, your mother
She was the one who shared
her room with you as a child
and heart as grown up
your teacher and mentor
Your first play companion
your fierce competitor
You loved and loathed her
Remained tied to her, your sister
A wife , a beloved daughter
even an enchantress and lover
Yes she is the one fulfilling
All your emotional needs
A women in life’s every corner
Imprints of her all around you
But do you really remember her
Cared for her
When ‘she’ was down and in pain
or she like a river just flows
Never felt or understood?
